You know it's nearly Christmas when:
- You get round to seeing friends you haven't seen for months
- You can't turn on the radio without hearing Mariah Carey or Wham!
- The Radio Times and Kerrang! bumper issues arrive
- Christmas cards are up on the sideboards
- There's only a week of shopping days left before Xmas and you only have 4 presents bought
- You're ready to get a Christmas tree
- All the wrapping paper mysterious appears from nowhere
- It's raining
You know it's going to be a fucking odd Christmas when:
- It starts snowing
- Your friend a hundred miles away has snow
- You don't actually want snow yet
Thanks to the unseasonably wintry weather, I am now petrified of queuing overnight. Solution? Persuade my dad to buy me a pop-up tent for gigs. He's thinking about it.

Funniest thing I've ever seen: 130,000 people making their way to the campsites at V festival, and someone's popup tent pops itself in the middle of the crowd. So make sure it's got a sturdy bag if you get one xDD
